Detangle Your Hair:

Hold sections of your hair and gently brush out knots and tangles. A paddle brush’s wide, flat surface makes this easy.
Blow-Dry for a Smooth Finish:

If you’re blow-drying your hair, the paddle brush can help you achieve a sleek, straight look.
Set your blow dryer to medium heat.
Hold the paddle brush under a section of your hair close to the roots. Point the nozzle of the blow dryer downward to smooth the cuticle.
Slowly brush through your hair from roots to ends while following the brush with the blow dryer.
Add Volume:

While paddle brushes are primarily used for straightening and smoothing, you can still add some volume.
Flip your head upside down and brush your hair out while blow-drying. This can add some lift at the roots.
